Often overlooked, Iced Tea is as about as refreshing as a summer drink gets. Lightly sweetened with fresh slices of orange and mint leaves, here's our perfect summer Iced Tea recipe.
Makes around 1.5 litres
- 6 teabags, we like to use English Afternoon in our Iced-Tea
- 2 tbsp golden caster sugar (you could use honey if you prefer)
- 2 lemons, juice of one, the other sliced
- 1 orange, sliced
- bunch of fresh mint leaves
- Ice
Add around 1.5 litres of cold filtered water to a serving jug and add the teabags. Leave for 10 minutes to infuse. Remove teabags and chill the tea
Add the lemon juice, slices of lemon & orange and mint leaves, plenty of ice and stir
Serve in chilled glasses
